Gobelin, 125.5 x 105 in. Woven by Belmonte from 1928 until his death in 1956. From a design by Percyval Tudor-Hart until his death in 1954. His wife Catherine Tudor-Hart finished painting the cartoons and René Beaudonnet continued the tapestry until 1961. Signed by the rose surrounded with heart (under the tail of the tortoise) and Belmonte's two snails (under the frog). Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto, Canada (inv. 971.148)
